Pregnancy Counselling Services is an independent Charitable Trust.PCS was set up in 1980 and registered as a Charitable Trust in 1984. We are funded entirely by grants and donations, and are currently applying for re-registration under the new Charities Act. We have branches all over New Zealand, employ over 200 counsellors and make no charge for our services.
Women with any issues regarding pregnancy that they wish to talk through are encouraged to call us on 0800 773 462. The phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also strive to meet all our callers for face-to-face counselling within 24 hours of them first making contact if they wish.
Our counsellors operate according to the Privacy Act, protecting the client's confidentiality. We have no ties to religious or political groups and carefully maintain our independence.
